Director of Loss Prevention

Skills and Knowledge

• Extensive experience with and knowledge of Loss Prevention operational procedures
• Knowledge of emergency plans, safety and security guidelines
• Effective decision making skills & Influence Skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of overall hotel operations as they affect department
• Knowledge of civil laws pertaining to hotels
• Ability to effectively manage labor productivity, good presentation & platform skills.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
• Strong organization skills and analytical skills
• Strong customer and associate relation skills
• Good training/facilitator skills
• Knowledge of governmental regulations and safety standards (OSHA, EPA, ADA, CFC, PA) preferred

Education or Certification

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Ability to pass a criminal history background check
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Certified Lodging Security Director of Certified Protection Professional preferred

General requirements:

• Having strong leadership with good communication skill in English (both written and spoken)
• Enjoy routine in operation work and able to work under pressure
• Able to work flexible hour and independently with variety of tasks simultaneously
